Lease is a thirty-something mother of 2 who has finally dealt with her recurring need to write.  It was evident in her teens, but was overshadowed by the angst and hormones that came with the era.

In college, she found herself waiting in line for a Creative Literature class because it was the shortest one around, and it renewed her love of literature.

It must be said that law school and the practice of law killed her love for reading (maybe it was the 10,000s of pages she had to read?). She recently found her way back courtesy of Jane Austen, or maybe it was the most recent movie version of Pride and Prejudice.

Lease is flattered that you would think that she has a philosophy behind this blog.  Well, she does.

Or at least she thinks she does, and it goes something like this:

If you've ever been on a road trip, there are points in time when you focus on the destination and fail to appreciate the journey itself.

This is the appreciation of that journey, and the repository of the million (not-so) little things that make up a life.  With or without a Venti Soy Mocha from Starbucks.

Lease is a self-taught photographer.

Like life, her shots are hit or miss (mostly the latter).  She is married to her very own Hunky Hunk of Burning Love (a.k.a. the Hunk), who ocassionally quizzes her about her white balance, compostion, and ISO settings.

Lease thinks Radio and Television grads are HOT.  But only when they don't ask her technical questions.
