foodie find: Cafe Rouge in Berkeley
I will admit that this is not our first visit to Cafe Rouge. We've been here many times in the last few years, and I actually just realized that I should write about it.
Looking back to all our visits, we've never been disappointed by the entrees that we sampled. We've tried their burger, braised pork and their cheese platter. One thing that I hope will not change is the house bread - crusty on the outside, and just the perfect puff on the inside. I could say that some bread, butter and a glass of wine from Cafe Rouge can make my day!
We tried to be adventurous this time around and ordered something different.
We had the skirt steak and the herb roasted chicken. Again, we were not disappointed.
So in case you are in the Berkeley, California area, swing by Cafe Rouge. In does not hurt that it is right by the Crate and Barrel outlet, Z Gallerie, Sur la Table, and many other interesting shops
