resistance was futile

Week #23
of our 2011 Project 52*
(*give or take a week here and there for vacations)
This month's theme is...simple!

I finally gave in and bought an iPhone.  I realized 4 hours into the purchase that it has, in many ways, made my life simpler.  It has taken the place of my point-and-shoot camera, iTouch digital music player, pen and paper, etc.  I resisted for a few years, and I am still keeping my daily planner for scheduling, but I will say that taking at least 3 things out of my purse has lightened my load literally and figuratively.  phew!

I'm still working on selecting apps but love what I have so far - Tweetdeck, Instagram, and tiltshiftgenerator.

I've also been busy taking pictures, and here are few I've taken using the camera phone.  With photography apps, I am able to edit photos before uploading to Twitter or Facebook.  This alone shaves about 3 steps and countless minutes off from my daily life.

my son's newest toy
(was actually a gift from my sister-in-law last Christmas, but we tucked it away in a closet for him to enjoy later; inadvertently discovered when he was helping Mama clean out the closet)

iPhone = simpler life

More time for the kiddos.
More time for the Hunk.
More random memories captured.
