A few weeks ago, we shared our first harvest of baby carrots with you. We loved those carrots! They were sweet and crunchy, and needed only a bit of dressing (if at all).
This week we harvested our second crop of the spring season - snap peas!
Remember these babies? Itty-bitty babies...
They sprouted. Grew some more.
Survived the onslaught of rain, hail and slugs.
And, then grew some more.
Not exactly a harvest to feed the world, but enough to add to a vegetable dish for a family of four. Just added a little oyster sauce to the stir-fried veggies. That's it. Easy.
Nothing like fresh home-grown veggies at the dinner table.
