This is the second of three articles on F's favorite pizza places!

Paradise Pasta and Pizza in West Portal, SF serves up thin crust pizza as well. Not quite the Neapolitan-style but not as floppy as New York style. There’s a hint of sourdough in the crust, I think. My default here is their Italian Paradise – there is no tomato sauce on this scrumptious pizza. Just mozzarella, provolone, tomatoes, pancetta and basil. It makes me happy just thinking about it. I’ve tried almost all of their specialty pizzas and I haven’t been disappointed.
Their menu also of boasts house-made pasta dishes done up with traditional Italian sauces – Alfredo, Carbonara, Pomodoro… no fusion pastas here. I’ve tried a forkful of Carbonara from a friend’s plate and I thought it tasted wonderful! Mental note to think out of the (pizza) box on my next visit.
They also have entrees such as Chicken Piccata, Marsalla, etc and I’ve seen other diners enjoy generous servings. Wines and beer on tap are served.
As with Gialina, seating gets better after 8pm, dinner only and no resies.
Cheers,
F
