My eyes were welling up, and close to brimming over. OK, maybe a tear or two (or three) escaped. Sorry, okay? I couldn't help it.


All the emotions from the movie, and being so close to El Capitan, were front and center. If you've seen the movie, you know why. If you haven't, you need to see it and then come back to this page.

Hubby was looking over at me with an "are you crying again?" kind of look.

I looked away, trying not to let him see.

Then, hubby said, "Um...Lease... that ridge was in... South America."

Whatever, my love. Whatever.
