Ok, I will admit it to a secret...

We have a lot of plates.

We purchased a few here and there throughout the years. Scoured department stores for this pattern (which was part of my registry when I got married). We only had a handful when we started...

Do you think we have enough now?

This is a partial stack...We have more...pasta bowls... dessert plates...

You name the type of plate, we most likely will have it in this pattern or one complementary to it.

You see, we have this rule in our house...

We *try* not to use disposable plates (paper or plastic)...

So, each time we have an event or party, we use real plates...and metal utensils...and glassware....

I found these footed coolers at Crate and Barrel. Can you tell that we like the color blue? We also have these in clear white.

Instead of buying disposable plates, utensils and cups, we save our money and use it to buy eco-friendlier items such as...uh...more plates, and maybe a couple more footed dessert dishes.

We stick everything in the dishwasher before we call it a night, and let the batch air dry.
